By request I’ve put together some a few clips of my test drive of the new M3 at Laguna Seca last month in celebration of the M3 being released at dealers across the nation this past week.
However one quick note - I have to warn you that the video quality of my lap with the in car camera isn’t the best due to the sun washing out any detail of the track. Add to that a serious case of wind noise and you end up with a less than stellar video from a production point of view. However I can tell you from the driver’s point of view, it was still a hell of a lot of fun.
You can also check out a few other Laguna Seca M3 videos from my time at the track below:
Hands down the most addicting sound I’ve herd in a while, a overweight for my needs but sweet ride still. Still hoping the initial reports I have been reading about the E89 getting this motor is correct, hands down the stuff of dreams.

BimmerFile is dedicated to bringing you the most interesting news, links and reviews related to the BMW brand and it's vehicles.
We believe in the old school BMW ownership experience. We believe in garage nights with a six pack and some friends. We believe in 2002s, in E30 M3s and E34 540s with the 6 speed. We believe in progress in both design and engineering but we haven't lost sight of what made the brand and its products great all those years ago. And yes, we believe in the manual transmission.
We long for the days of the wave and for the days of roll-up windows. Yet we love the gadgets on the inside and the xenons on the outside.
In short, we can't get enough of BMWs. This is BimmerFile.
